Wot no chair in the bathroom on pre travel night ?
And were those actual sprouts in the lunch ?
Looks a great hotel. Sounds like an OK flight . I had someone who was very heavy handed with their " touch screen" IFE behind me on our flight ( more like punch screen) , so I feel your irritation with the kicking . It is wearing after a while isn't it.

No bathroom chair this time, Christmas day felt really weird, knowing we would be flying out the following day. Plus I was a bit tender from the excesses of Christmas Eve. We had the option of an earlier flight on boxing day but neither of us fancied such an early wake up.

The hotel was good, out of town but with great views over the river.

The seat kicking was annoying. My kids used to do it in the car when they were little and in car seats in the back. It felt like they were trying to kick me through the windscreen when all they were probably doing was shuffling about to get comfy.
