Disney resort availability

Ok, I’m pretty sure I know the answer to this but I’m going to ask anyway!
Has anyone had any joy changing to a resort that doesn’t show as available on the Disney website when they’ve called WDTC? We have CSR booked which is fine but visited POFQ when there and really liked the look of it. Unfortunately WDTC has no availability but I wondered about chancing it and calling.

Why not call them and see what they say.

I would call , it showed availability on the website for us but there wasn’t any free dine availability when I rang so could work both ways, they are really helpful so worth a call .

Yes I probably will but I wanted to ask the Dibb in case someone had experience that might get my hopes up!

Hi, In my experience availability changes frequently and what has been available online has been available to change to with the dining plan 🙂 So if you have plenty of time before your trip, just keep checking. I’ve checked a lot 🙈 when we were thinking about changing, and there was no resort that didn’t become available at some point.

Yes that’s where I’m at! I check every day but I’m so impatient!

did u ever call? I'm in same scenario but room types not resort, have BC garden and would like water but nothing showing.

No I haven’t had the chance yet. I may call tomorrow but part of me thinks I should just wait until we’ve booked flights just in case.

Yeah, good luck if you do! I need to add an extra night on. Probably best do that even as a garden view just in case! We have a while but I like things done... think I'll check daily at the mo

I remember for this years trip rooms became available during the free nights offer. Normally I wouldn’t have expected to switch however it seemed that if it was available on the website they were allowing the move. I remember POFQ was available because I almost changed to it. I’m hoping it’s the same this year and it may become available once free dining ends.
