I love February and yesterday found out my Feb flights have been cancelled.
I'm gutted.

I’m really looking forward to February - I always find January such a drag and having Orlando to look forward to Will really help get me through! The weather will be an improvement on what it’s like here too.
However if your heart is really set on going in December have you thought/are you able to switch back?

I totally understand you feeling a bit down about it all OP. I feel the same way after having so many flights of my own or my guests cancelled. Each and every time I am always so full of hope. Honestly though I know you will be sad to miss Christmas over there but February can be a great tie to visit for all the reasons listed in the posts above. I have visited a couple of times in February and honestly we have had a great time. It will be something to look forward to coming out of a dark and dull January.

I'm booked for my 3rd Feb trip, 2007 we did DC, flew in hot air balloon (it was cancelled twice at 5am due to bad conditions), did whichever WDW waterpark was open, and used the hotel pool in the dark. We also saw hotel staff with gloves and scarves on when we were in shorts and t-shirts, DS was 9 so we didnt do late nights but i dont remember long trousers being needed.

Second time 2012, we did need a sweatshirt and a coat one morning it was freezing, luckily we were staying at BC and dumped them in our rooms around 11am, we were there same time as this upcoming trip, valentines day and presidents weekend. We did decide if it was good enough for Michael Bublé its was good enough for us, he was checking into BC on valentines day as we were off to the parks.
Again waterpark and the hotel (x2) pools were used. we did wear sleeves some evenings but was not memorably cold.

If your trip coincides with our typical half term dates you are likely to get caught up in presidents weekend, it does get busier, like weekends do, but is more than manageable imo. We also travelled mid-march one trip and found that alot busier with spring break crowds.

We have been twice in Feb and had lovely weather and low crowds apart from presidents weekend, would love to go at that time of year again!

Loved our Feb 2020 trip.
Great weather, Mardi Gras at universal was fab ( next year starts 5/2) and we also went to the basketball which we thought was brilliant.

Booked for Feb 2022 and can’t wait. It will be dark, miserable and cold here and you will be in the sunshine riding rollercoasters - what’s not to like?

We were there in February 2019. I understand that the weather is very unpredictable that time of year, so I have no idea what February 2022 will be like, but the year we went the weather in February was lovely. Nice and warm, definitely shorts and short sleeve weather and without the exhausting heat and humidity that comes later in the year. Absolutely perfect weather.

Nothing going on? Well there won’t be Christmas decorations which I would love to see one day, but everything else goes on just as normal. I found WDW much busier than my usual times of year which are April, May and September.

We are booked for January, I am hoping for these quiet parks people speak of, but I am not sure they exist.
