Unable to travel tomorrow

Good morning all, we were due to head off on our travels tomorrow morning via euro tunnel and daughter has tested positive on her travel lateral flow and so we are going nowhere. I only booked on the 7th of this month and daren’t get excited as we all know that in this current climate plans can change over night ( she tested negative yesterday). Knowing that there were lots off us who are booked to visit the parks soon, I look forward to hearing all about everyone else’s trips.

Sorry to hear that, hope you can reschedule your trip. On a positive at least you are at home rather than away if your daughter starts to feel unwell. I tested negative on Monday but felt unwell that night so tested again and it was positive and have felt lousy ever since. Hope that your daughter is OK x

I’m hoping we now get a positive on the PCR test as I need this for my travel insurance!

She feels well at the moment but I’ve told her that could change, she did test negative yesterday. It’s running through her school like you wouldn’t believe, she said that there were 8 students in her Geography class the other day and there’s usually 32. She has mostly been taught by substitute teachers in the last few weeks as her teachers have been off with it.

Fingers crossed for everyone else travelling soon with teens.

Thank you me too... frustrated as was meant to have had my booster on Tues morning! Hope the rest of your household stay well, when my DS had it 5 weeks ago the rest of us managed to avoid it x
