So nice to be writing a pre trip report.
We are, myself, Julie and oh Matt.
I am a waitress in a 5 star resort and Matt is an executive chef. (Not at the same place)
This trip has been postponed, changed and moved dates, like many of us have been doing.
Originally we were going to meet friends here in October and then Mexico/Florida in November.

At the beginning of August my darling mum was diagnosed with cancer. She had a pain in her side for a couple of months but felt fine and was still pottering about everywhere while she was waiting for appointments.
We basically decided to put everything on hold until we knew more and changed the flights to Spain so we didn’t lose them plus cancelled the Mexico holiday. We had already been thinking about doing that anyway.

A few days after her results mum had a night of extreme pain, went to the hospital (after waiting 15 hours for an ambulance) Monday morning and we were told on Tuesday they couldn’t operate and had days to live.
She came home for end of life care and we actually had 3 weeks with her. (I moved in with her with my sisters and brother and we cared for her ourselves)
She passed away peacefully at the end of August.
She was so brave and kept saying life goes on, so although it’s been difficult we are looking forward to this little break.
The title is what Matt and I have been saying, all we want is a sangria (me), san migel (matt) and a tray of crisps.

We fly out Thursday 25th November until Thursday 2nd December.
This is with Ryan air, £98 return for both, we added a case for £40 now as well. We changed free from our original dates.
We have been this time of year before and it’s usually decent weather.
Staying at the Med playa hotel Bali, have been here twice before. I think this was about £500.
Its all inclusive and although we are planning a more relaxing break we will be going out and about in the town.
Also we will visit Marbella and probably Malaga.
We are getting a direct train from Norwich to stansted on Wednesday and staying at the premier inn as it’s an early flight out.
Train was about £70 with a 2 travel together rail card (anytime return) and the hotel was £35.
Our friends we were going to meet on the original trip, Tracy and Paul have also booked even though they were there last month.
