BA lounge offer

i was convinced that BA had extended the BA holidays offer where if you spend over £1500 pp you got access to the club lounge. I can't find anything to confirm this. We're flying the end of november

We had this promotion in August when we flew to the US via Barbados. I think a couple of weeks before our departure we received an email detailing what was included, priority check in, priority going through security, we were actually escorted through, and the best bit, access to the Club Lounge. As we only ever travel economy, we were like kids let lose in a sweet shop, we loved every minute! I hope the promotion is still running and you get to enjoy it too x

Anyone know how to check if you got this? We changed our booking from October to end of January 2022 (at extra cost) so not sure if that counts or not.

I think whether you qualify will hinge around the terms and conditions mentioned below which you need to read carefully -

"To qualify, simply book an eligible holiday package of either flight (operated by British Airways) + hotel or car for a 5 night stay or more, between 24 August 2021 and 31 March 2022 (excluding departures from 16 December 2021 to 6 January 2022).

So you need to sit down and work out how much you originally paid for the holiday and how much the cost is after the change and see if that matches the offer.

If after that you think you do qualify then I would contact BA to get confirmation.

Dont go expecting a fantastic lounge experience.

The hot breakfast was basically a bacon roll with a very soggy hash brown stuck inside it.

Beats being downstairs with the great unwashed though

Oh it doesn’t include holiday bookings over Christmas .

DH gets lounge access as he’s silver Avios but it only includes one guest. Over the years we’ve had mixed results getting in with the girls as it’s at the staff members discretion to let all four of us in based on how busy they are. So sometimes they’ve let us in and sometimes not. If it’s really busy we haven’t bothered to try.

The girls are older now (15 and 13) so we did nip in for a quick drink at Heathrow T5 when we flew to Edinburgh this year, leaving the grumpy teens at Starbucks 😂.

has anyone had anything about this via email? thought someone might be travelling within next 2 weeks. We are 3 weeks today (can't believe i'm actually saying that! )
