We’ll be doing the same journey (GLW-LHR-MCO) in early December and are planning on using the Express Test site at Braehead also.

I think we'll go to Randox in Howard St, City Centre. £53 if memory serves. We were going to go to Eurofins, but couldn't find out anything about it, so thought I must have dreamt about it, but now reading above, realised its closed. Both Express test and Glasgow Airport drive through are £80. This annoys me because other express test locations down south are much cheaper, but apparently the Glasgow tests are flown to Belfast for processing, probably accounts for the extra expense, but that just makes me uneasy about getting the results.

Anyway, due to changing situation where we are going, I won't be booking anything till the week before.

I had a PCR "Fit to Fly" Test from Dam Health in Westmuir Street in Glasgow.

The Test was at 9am and I had the result and certificate late at night the same day.

Cost £69.

I notice most of you are going for a pcr test rather than an antigen test. We are going Glasgow - Gatwick - Orlando but not until 2nd January. Glasgow to Gatwick on 2nd then fly out 3rd. I decided to make them separate bookings as BA said the three day testing window would be to our 2nd January flight if it was all one booking. I didnt want to risk any muddle up with having to go back through security at Gatwick the next day. I was planning on either doing the antigen test at Glasgow airport or Boots at Braehead but the issue will be if they are open on 2nd January.

Is there a reason you went for PCR over an antigen test?
