Can I ask how this works if you’re booking a package like the 50th offer where you buy the tickets at the same time?

The booking for one person? It's fine, when you add on extra people later once you're happy to go ahead with the booking, additional sets of tickets are added to the reservation.
The only thing is you won't be able to make park reservations for them until they're on the booking, but they don't need to be made that far in advance anyway so it's not really an issue. |

Thanks again.
I’m just going to go ahead and do this now. I’ve spoken to Disney a couple of times today and they’re saying that I can cancel up to 7 days before without penalty and amend up to 8 days before. But the t and c’s still say 56 days and a frequently asked question on the website says: I have an upcoming stay at a Disney Resort hotel. What does this mean for my holiday? If you have a Walt Disney World package booking for arrival in 2021, or for arrival in 2022 if booked prior to May 20 2021, you can cancel free of charge up to 7 days prior to departure (excluding transport fees within 100 days). Bookings made from May 20 2021 arriving in 2022 are subject to standard booking terms and conditions. |

I wouldn't worry about the FAQ, they're not very good at updating the website with the latest info. In my T&CS for my 2022 booking, it has all the days still split out from 56 to 7, but they're just loss of deposit rather than the larger charges they did pre-Covid. I did book right around that cutoff date though, my invoice is dated 21/05.
Worse comes to worse, you could always amend it rather than cancel. I've always found WDTC very flexible when it comes to cancellations though, even pre-Covid. Which is why I keep booking with them. Edited at 04:15 PM. |
