Removal of daughter from flight as does not meet usa entry requirements

In a nutshell autistic daughter 20yrs old will not have vaccine and pcr/antigen tests not an option. Had to cancel her part of flight and holiday through disney but told may have to pay £100 for cancelling her flight. Is this right?

Unfortunately yes. While WDTC are being very flexible on the hotel/tickets side, there's nothing they can do about the cancellation charges from the airline for flights.

Where abouts are you based? In some areas there are fantastic vaccine clinics set up especially for people with autism and learning disabilities that really take the time to work with people to overcome their fears and concerns. It might be worth a try?

Hi, there are now the saliva tests which dont involve nose or throat swabs. So would she not be ok with this?

This makes me sad. I know my daughter is only 8 but she’s also autistic and loves Disney. I couldn’t imagine leaving her behind. As others have said there are other options for testing.

The OP said she won't have the vaccine so testing isn't the issue.

I doubt that the US will remove the requirement for adults to be vaccinated anytime soon
