Where do you enter/exit on A350-1000? Right at the front by row 1?
Once UC are seated, as priority boarding, does everyone else enter and walk through this cabin!?

The Virgin A350 leisure configuration hasn’t done any passenger flights yet, so there won’t be any actual experience to report.

I would imagine it’s going to be a bit airport/gate dependent, you could have any of door 1 only, door 2 only, or both doors being used. Over the years on many airlines I’ve seen all of the above. On a recent A350 flight with BA, only door 2 was used for boarding, both doors were used to disembark at destination.

If only door 2 is used, on the VS leisure configuration PE will potentially get off before UC, though if Virgin is using a Covid protocol similar to BA, everyone stays in their seats until called in small groups, so PE could be held.

Thank you.

That’s my second flight that’s changed from the new plane to the old style. One day we’ll get to try out the ‘love seats’!

Just for information as was looking for the leisure config of the A350... seems the LHR-MCO VS91 for Jan-MAR has now reverted back to A333. At least on the booking site.

Maybe worth checking seats again?

I had updated #Post1 but didn't amend the title but have changed that today - thanks for the reminder.

I understand that they have to change planes round but I do wish they would let people know. We had our original holiday booked in 2019 and (fingers crossed) next year we will get there. Our plane has been changed from the 747 to to a330 to the A350 and not once did I find out through Virgin. When we got moved they put us in the same seat numbers but they have been all over the plane on each change.

I hadn’t seen this thread but coincidently went in virgin app today and noticed the change - we originally had 4 seats in a row a family and now that ain’t possible, but they have kept the same seats numbers so we end up with preferred economy but we have the middle and left seat in one row and the middle and right seat in the next row, so not sitting in front of each other in two places , on the return flight they have moved to window and middle (as was delight) but at least both in front/behind each other.

If I try and move the preferred seat to make them all four in a square it wants to charge me £30.

Do we think if I ring they will assist me and just move it so at least my two kids are directly in front /behind with no charge. It will they try and charge me more as they have put us in prefeed seating we didn’t ask for!

Same here , booked 2019, have got new seat numbers but had 4 in row previously , now got two and two in rows but not directly behind each other as one middle in each and then a right seat and a left seat (not major as kids older ) but not the point! By moving us have got preferred economy seat at least!
