Holiday Insurance Question
Hi everyone. If say 4 people are booked to go to the USA and 1 of those people tests positive for Covid pre-departure. Is their insurance to cancel the holiday for all 4 people ?

I would have a look at the details in your insurance. I’m just looking for ours and the three I’ve looked at all would cover that, it’s probably quite standard, but all insurance policies seem to be subtly different so definitely read it through.

I've booked with insure with ease, but as Lostbrain said, pretty much every insurance company covers this now, just use comparison sites and check the specific cover to make sure it matches with what you want.

I was going through the list on Money Saving Expert, I’ve looked at Staysure, Avanti and Coverwise. On another post people were very positive about LV.
Please don’t rely on my word though, do read the policies. I’m currently leaning towards Avanti as they seemed the most comprehensive. Ive been quoted £137 for multi trip for a family of 4. Multi trip was coming out cheaper than single for our 2 week trip. |

£137. That’s a very good price.

Does it make a difference though if you are one family of 4, all with one policy rather than 4 friends with separate policies?
