Brit Guide to Orlando 2022

Wondering if it's too early to be wishing I could pre-order the 2022 Brit Guide... 🤔 😃😃 🎊 got a real positive feeling for next year and the Brit Guide is an essential part of the planning and the buzz

2021 issue was delayed (for obvious reasons!), looking forward to the next version. Just finished working my way through the 2021 version. Fingers crossed it will be published on time.

It's a very good question! We are actually working on the 2022 edition at the moment, just adding in the new details about the extended hours for WDW hotel guests and some of the other things that are happening this week.

As Bondy007 suggested, the 2021 issue was a nightmare to do, and has ended up being another white elephant (like the 2020 edition, only worse). But the publisher has agreed to stick with another edition in the hope that 2022 will see us back to something approximating normal. We are having to trim things back in places, but the theme park chapters will not be affected, mainly because there is even more to squeeze in than ever before!

We are hoping for publication at the end of October, but that is difficult to be definitive about at the moment, as there are still several variables at play (Hello 'Delta' variant; grrr!).

The good news is that here in Orlando things are definitely returning to normal and we just need to get our transatlantic travel back again. We have no crystal ball as to when that will be, but we remain hopeful that 2021 will not be a total write-off.

Sounds positive Simon. Good to hear. I enjoyed the last version, not bought one for a few years as haven't been... It was good to catch up on a few things that have changed over the years.
Roll on the next version...

Fingers crossed for your 2022 book. Bought the 2021 book and it kept me going thro’ my Florida drought.

That's really good to hear, grumpybri We're really hoping things turn around, and soon, as we can't afford a third successive edition that basically generates no revenue It's been a tough 18 months for many of us working on the UK side of the tourism business here in Orlando and, while we do have other outlets, most of them have also been badly affected by the pandemic, and it's very sobering to see how far this affects so many allied businesses. Parts of Orlando will take a while to recover, but the good news is that the theme parks are thriving again.

Fabulous news 😁 we buy it every year, even the years we don't go. I hope it all turns out OK for you and look forward to reading the 2022 publication on the airplane 🤞🤞
