Edinburgh Hotel with parking

Hi

Looking for recommendations for area and hotel.

We're hoping to go to Edinburgh beginning of August. Where would the best place to stay be, ideally with parking as we are driving there?

Many thanks

What's your budget? I used to work in Edinburgh a lot and used to stay at Edinburgh Park. Ok it's outside Edinburgh but the tram is 10 mins in.

Parking at the Novotel or premier Inn there.

Thanks for your reply. Budget wise - maybe £100 a night - maybe a bit more or less!

We are staying in this one in August, top one the Marriott
booking/hotel/gb/edi...s=1&#hotelTmpl

It’s only a few minutes walk to Gateway station, which is only a matter to minutes to the Waverley station which is the centre of Edinburgh.

Edinburgh is not great for parking if you are looking at city centre. Most hotels have deals with NCP car parks or similar.
I think as posted previously Edinburgh Parks has a premier Inn and Novo hotel where you can park the. Take train/tram into centre. The city centre premier inns will all have deals with closest car parking and probablywork out about £12 per day.
Hotels down at leith may have parking but again will require bus/tram.

Norton house hotel and Dalmahoy both have free parking but are not in the centre of Edinburg but easily accessible to the city.

This hotel is also close to a bus stop (right across the road) with regular buses straight to city centre. It’s also close to a shopping centre (the Gyle).

There is a Holiday Inn beside the zoo. It has parking and is a short bus ride to city centre.
