Autoeurope Budget

Recently booked car hire through Autoeurope with Budget and went for the zero excess package for insurance just checking that I won’t need any additional insurances and what I have is suitable cover

I booked through the .eu website

Thanks

Best thing is to check through what cover you have. Check the SLI as some autoeurope policies only seen to cover the state minimum which is far from great

OP. I only use the UK website so I don't know if it's the same . However you can click on the 'rate details' icon then open up the additional information tab.

I picked a random period in March and it shows this:-

Unlimited miles.
C.D.W. Deductible: USD 0.00.
Theft Insurance Deductible: USD 0.00.
Liability Insurance: Included in rates.

Now I would want to know what limit is on the Liability Insurance. Is it State minimum or the better $1 million.

For an extra £11 I then selected an Alamo car and that had the better $1 million SLI so if it was me I would opt for that company with AE.

Hi
Good advise from Mr T, for the difference in price it’s a no brainier. I’ve booked with AutoEurope.ie Budget and I emailed them to check the ALI limit and they replied it was $1,000,000. If the difference in price is to much to ignore then email them for your own piece of mind.

Just check with them and they confirmed in writing $1million
therefore am I all covered or is there anything else I need concerning insurances ?
Thanks

Well done. You are now good to go, nothing else needed. Make sure they don't try to up sell you with others things like insurance for possessions etc as your holiday insurance covers that

Be polite and just decline.
