Marathon, Burdines Restaurant, Fantastic Burgers, great view
Key west, enjoyed everything

loved it all, booked everything separate and didnt have any hassle, would do it again, but want to do west coast next year.

That looks a great vacation. Right up our street, in fact. There is just so much to see in Florida.

Hi we usually do a road trip on nearly every trip to Orlando only so much mickey i can take but the best we ever did by any means is from ORLANDO to NEW ORLEANS and back for the 2010/11 new years celebrations.

it can be done in one day although a bit of a slog if you set off early enough and share the driving plus when you get there you basically just park the car and get the trams where ever you want to go, we absolutely loved it four of us in a ford fusion was a great experience,

new Orleans is amazing probably my favorite place and would highly recommend music, food, culture, booze something for everyone.

We drove up to Savannah for 3 nights from Rotonda one year, then down to St Augustine for 2 nights and on to catch our flight out from Orlando, so it's easily doable.

Cornishfrogboy, was a great vacation, totally agree, really enjoyed the road trip and would do it again, but really want to do California next year like you are doing.

How long does it take to get to Savannah or Miami? Can they be done in a day from Orlando?

We went to Savannah for the day in Jan when we were staying at Daytona beach, took about 3.5-4h each way if I remember rightly. Defo worth it, such a nice historical city. Very European I thought! And not crowded or busy at all

We've done Miami from Orlando a few times takes around 4h depending on the traffic as the I95 can be pretty clogged at times. We usually leave mega early around 5am to get a good start.
