Outback Steakhouse near the 192

Hi
Has anyone eaten here recently and can tell me how it was?
We ate here numerous times on previous visits, but on our last trip 2 years ago had a couple of bad experiences. The service seemed really slow, meals arrived at different times and steaks over cooked. Ended up leaving really disappointed. It was a shame as was always one of our favourites. I know anywhere can have a bad day, but just looking for any recent good experiences to make us change our mind about going back this time.

We have eaten in the Vineland Ave and one near the loop, both of these locations have been good this year.
The one on the loop takes 5-10 minutes from 192 as we jump on the Osceola parkway and it takes us straight there. It's also a little newer so the interior is a little nicer than vineland

Thanks for your reply. We could try the one on the loop. The one near the 192 is so close to Indian Creek where we're staying though. Might give it another try.

We ate there a number of times in May and everything was OK. We were a bit apprehensive as one visit (the last) the previous October was a disaster. I don't say this lightly as we have been visitors to this Outback since 2000 and usually been happy with things there.

We were excited about going as heard such good reviews, didn't enjoy it at all and the famed onion thing was awful lol, this was the one at Formosa gardens exit on the 192 Aug 2016

Thanks for your replies. Yes we'd always been happy with it before but felt we had really bad service from them on two occasions. They failed to get meals out together, we sent back a steak as was over cooked and they then forgot to bring it back out. When it did eventually come back out everyone else had finished their meals and the steak was still over cooked. Hmmmm. Maybe we'll just stick to Longhorns. We love it there and never had a bad meal and always good service.

Never been to Outback, we go to Longhorns and Texas Roadhouse both really nice.

Is out back very different or a good option to try?

We were the same as you and had a bad experience 2 years ago but decided to give it a try again this week and it was great. Food was lovely and service very good. Also loved Longhorn Steakhouse at Rolling Oaks on the 192.

We tried here one year and the food was awful so maybe it's just this location
