Atlanta security delays yesterday

We are on familymoom having got married in the uk Wednesday had an early start with a 6.45 flight to Paris to connect to Atlanta. Got to Atlanta one case had already gone awol - it's expected to make it to Orlando but could take a week. I am taking that with a big pinch of salt as good old Air France lost 2 of our cases last time and it took weeks to recover them!

Not to worry it's a delta/air France codeshare so delta will reimburse our emergency shopping bill we can muddle through but of course it was our biggest case that's gone.

More of a problem was 2.5 hour se unity queue - the systems were in slowdown and we were fairly far up the queue it more resembled MCO than our previous experience of Atlanta - though no doubt the dreadful events of yesterday in Barca might have put everyone on edge.

Needless to say we missed our connection and had another 2 hours to wait so my very brave kids - having that and queuing to report missing bags blah blah blah ended up with a 20 hour travel day and to rub salt the food court closed the minute we tried to get supplies!

Thank goodness for our garden grocer order to keep us going until today.

Still am v happy to be here and so gladtohavecused Atlanta and found an alternative flight petty quickly could have been a lot worse!
