Tambu lounge

Been trying desperately to get a reservation at Ohanas for a family of 5 but have been unsuccessful. I know they do the Lapu Lapu drink and the bread pudding at the Tambu lounge.

Could anyone tell me if there is a lot of seating in the restaurant and is it really busy? Are you likely to get a seat or is it more bar stools etc? Also what is the food like there?

The Lounge is more of a lobby bar with small seating areas. It's pretty open to the hotel so there tends to be people sitting down who are not using the lounge itself.

It's also the waiting area for 'Ohana so can get very busy at dinner time as there tends to be a wait for 'Ohana tables.

Try to get there early. We went in the afternoon and it was dead. However, when we were there before our 'Ohana reservation - there wasn't one free seat/bar stool.

We just stopped by for a Lapu Lapu so can't comment on the food.
