Fluttering in ear?!

A few days ago after I'd washed my hair it felt like I had water stuck in my ear for ages and it wouldn't budge-it did eventually overnight and the next morning everything was fine.
I've washed my hair again today and now I have this weird fluttering sensation in my ear! It feels like something is fluttering its wings in there (although I don't think there actually is anything in there,it's the only way I can describe it) it's not painful but it's driving me mad!
Does anyone have any idea what it could be?

It's not crackling, it's softer than that, it kind of feels like I need to pop it? I've just looked online and I think it may be a muscle jerking, I do have this happen with my eye when I'm tired or stressed, my eyelid will flicker-it's really odd lol! It's less frequent now than when it started but it's really annoying

I get this sometimes, its really weird! I've no idea what causes it, and it doesn't stay for long, but it is weird!

No, you're not on your own with that one. I had it for about 3 weeks earlier this year. Just went on its own eventually.

I get this too! My sister used to wind me up when we were little and say there was something living in my ear 😂
