Mobile Dining Plan question

Hi! I am considering booking the campsite on the Disney US site for all the benefits it's offering me!

It's asking me if I want to add Dining Plan for the 1 night of my stay. Questions are -
1 - is that dining plan for BOTH days I.e we've booked Sunday night, do we have dining plan Sunday AND Monday?
2- if we don't use all the credits before we check out but we still have days left on our tickets, will we still have the credits on our magic band to spend in the parks? Or these get magicallly wiped when the dining plan when we check out?

Thanks!

You get a set of credits for each night you book. They will run from when you check in until midnight on the day that you check out. Effectively they will be valid for use on the two days - but you will only get "one days" worth.
Whatever you haven't used at midnight on the day you checked out will as you say magically disappear.

You get 1 set of credits per person for every night that you book. So, depending on which plan you buy, 1 night on site gets you either:
2 qs credits and 2 snacks per person
1 qs credit, 1 ts credit and 2 snacks per person

They can be used in any way that you want between the time you check in and midnight on the day you check out. They then expire, so you wouldn't be able to use any credits that might be left.

Personally, for 1 night I don't think it's worth it, plus you'll be paying the $ rate which makes it more expensive too.

Obviously something has changed, as it used to be a minimum of 3 nights for the dining plan. Is it worth it... probably not just crunch the numbers & it would all be down to where you wanted to eat for that credit- it would need to be either a character meal or buffet & even then I think you'd just break even.

Just did a dummy run... the only way it seems to offer the one night DDP is if you book your park tickets when you make your booking for the campsite.

OP... are you thinking of booking tickets via the Disney US site... that's an expensive option ( $932 + tax for 2a+2c for a 2 day 1 park ticket )

Short answer though is you CAN make a one night DDP ( albeit an expensive way of doing it ).
