Mobile Character Dining

What has everyone's favourite character dining experience been? I have done Crystal Palace before (group of adults only) and loved it but we're heading back in 2019 with our kids and currently looking into all the options 😃

Tusker House is my favourite especially for breakfast, a great selection of foods with something a bit different with the Africa theme and it also has excellent character interaction.

Another favourite is Best Friends Breakfast at Ohana, the food is served family style rather than a buffet and its different characters with Lilo & Stitch there.

We loved Tusker House too. Enjoyed the food- bit of a change from burgers and chips.

We did Tusker House and The crystal palace last year, we loved both but enjoyed CP more. Next year we will look at doing 1900 Park fayre & Garden Grill!

The best ones CP, Tusker, GG + Mickey BBQ

1900 breakfast/dinner food was average good characters though. Doing it once is enough to experience it.

H+V Food is average. Disney Junior Characters are good.

O'Hana Breakfast was good. BUT unless you need to meet Lilo+Stitch I probably would not travel for it.

CRT+Akershus are good but doing them once is probably enough.

Chef Mickey dinner is ok. Again doing it once is enough.

For breakfast I think it would have to be Tusker House, while the breakfast buffet is pretty much standard across all of the character buffet meals, I think we got better character interaction and a shorter wait.

For dinner the best was probably Garden Grill, definitely the best food offering, and it was pretty quiet when we visited so got a lot of time with the characters.

Worst: for both breakfast and dinner is Hollywood and Vine (Disney Jr / Minnie's seasonal dine) The food was nothing special, and the wait to see all of the characters was a lot worse than any other restaurant we visited.

weird question alert!

at the Garden Grill, what colour shirt does Mickey wear? Is it orange check or red - looks orange in photo's I've seen but sometimes it's the lighting or screen that can change colours.
