Ohana - queueing for Stitch :(
Today is our ohana breakfast.
Dd is really excited to meet Stitch as he's one of her favourites. I have to say that we've never had a particularly good experience at ohana, always had long waits and below average service. If it weren't for the character interaction we certainly wouldn't bother. Just queued 10 minutes to check in and joined a long queue that snakes around the lobby to meet stitch. I asked if we could meet him afterwards as the queue might be shorter. I was told I may as well queue as we'll be waiting that long for our table anyway! I'm guessing at least 30-40 minute queue! Really wishing I'd cancelled it now. I thought about it when I read about the change but dd really wanted to do it. All of our other adrs have been great. Can't believe I've let ohana disappoint us again 😢 No real point to this post other than to kill time whilst I queue. Maybe it'll also serve as a reminder if I look back on it that I should follow my gut and not book ohana again in the future. To anyone coming soon, I really hope they change the current set up. The queue and lobby are full of people moaning about the wait and looking bored - not what you want to experience when you should all be excited about meeting the characters. |

Sounds pretty dreadful. I wouldn't want to be going to eat and having to queue.

I would be annoyed too. Perhaps an email or visit to Guest Services to voice your dissatisfaction, may help it go back to how it was.

I'd be seriously annoyed. You pay a premium for character dining to avoid queues. You may as well queue at a regular meet and greet if that's going to happen and save yourself $$$

We've just met Stitch.
Total wait time was 30 minutes. We're now sitting waiting for our buzzer to go off. I know you do have to wait for some adrs but this the longest we've waited anywhere. Not much interaction from stitch either, I guess they need to get through the queue. Quick photo and signature and you're off. At least when he visited the tables you could have some fun with him. Wonder how much longer we'll wait for a table - there are a lot of people waiting. |

Please feed back to them that this change is very unwelcome. I've read other posts on here about the change of system and people really aren't happy.
We had a lovely breakfast with Lilo, Stitch and co for my birthday in 2010. Yes, Stitch didn't spend too long at our table as there were so many kids nearby clamouring to see him. But no way would I have queued up!

Just finishing up now and have to say we're so disappointed again.
Service was so slow, nobody checked if we needed anything by the time we tracked someone down to get ketchup food was cold. Bacon cane out after food was eaten. Manager sorted out a fresh skillet so we had hot food but they clearly don't have enough staff to manage this many tables. I'll be emailing later in the hopes that they change the set up to improve this experience for others. |

30 mins to meet a character at breakfast that is terrible.
We done on O'Hana Breakfast was ok. Food was good but nothing outstanding. Only reason to go is to meet Lilo and Stitch. No need to go again. One and done. Waiting around there was a lot of that at O'Hanas. Looks like nothing has changed. |
