Mobile Cheap Spanish chain hotels..Palma

I'm looking for one night in Palma at the end of July before we join our cruise. I stupidly assumed I'd get a cheap and cheerful hotel for the night but looking at the booking comparison sites it seems not to be the case. Does anyone know of any hotel chains, similar to Premier Inn etc that wouldn't appear on websites such as booking.com etc that i could try?

Premier Inn / Travelodge type of basic chains don't really exist in Palma, though there are plenty of basic hotels. What sort of budget do you have and what are you finding online?

Your dates are the highest of high seasons and rates will not be low (at least not yet), since the hoteliers in Mallorca had another great year in 2017.

Have you tried the Globales chain, we have stayed at a couple on the Costa del Sol. They were fine, don't know the price bracket though.
