It has been a busy week, we celebrated Thanksgiving on Thursday. We like to celebrate this (I love a Seasonal dining experience!) we had turkey, spicy corn, dressing, brussel sprouts with pancetta, marscapone mash and honey and thyme carrots. It was all delicious and we were too full for dessert. 😆

I also made a cranberry fizz, this was delicious.

Then on Friday night Adam and I visited Leeds to watch Michael McIntyre perform. He was very good but it was such a long afternoon/evening with plenty of waiting around. It would appear that patience is not my strong point. 😂

Adam popped up into the loft to bring down our packing cubes and remembered that my suitcase was damaged on our last trip. It seems that someone tried to separate my wheels from my luggage. 😱 I managed to find some suitcases in the Black Friday sale at Costco so bought two. I don’t like spending loads on luggage as it invariably gets damaged and I have to replace it!

They arrived super quickly, which means Adam is now trying to encourage me to start packing properly. 😱

Because it will invariably look like this. 😂

We have another busy week coming up and the weather is not fun, it’s so wet and cold here. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the weather in Orlando stays in the 20’s as it will save on me taking twice as many clothes! 😆🤩🎄🇺🇸
Oh WOW, What a lovely thanksgiving meal 😋
Too full for dessert 😳🙄never ever 🤪

Steve that is exactly why we celebrate Thanksgiving! It keeps the enthusiasm going between trips. 😁🇺🇸

I love the look of the silver luggage. I think its sensible to not spend too much on cases as they get thrown about quite a lot by the baggage handlers and seem to come back with lots of scuffs on them.

Thanks Abby, they look pretty smart in person, however I’m sure they will look several years older by the time we fly home. 😂

Yum yum, your thanksgiving dinner looks delicious

Two weeks

Nice cases, I like to stay middle of the road (most are Tripp), not cheapy ones as they don't take more than a couple of trips or expensive ones as they get so bashed up during travel.

Almost time to pack the pre-packed stuff xx

Thanks Tina, it was really good! 😋 We were eating leftovers for days. 😂

It is going so quickly now, we have a few extra busy days coming up so that helps make the time pass. 😆

I hear what you are saying about the cases, it’s a fine line isn’t it! Don’t spend too much but also don’t spend too little, the worst bit is seeing your case come off the plane damaged. 😬

Yes, Adam is getting a bit antsy about my lack of proper packing! 😆 xxxx
