Help finding a specific trip report please...

Hi Folks
Long shot...but looking to see if I [or we between us ]...can find a specific trip report please.

I remember, years ago... , reading it and being totally caught up in it... and now its exactly the trip we are looking to do the homework on for maybe next year, or 2025...

It was a young couple, in their 20s maybe, both with blonde hair if I remember correctly...and they set off from Vegas, up to death valley then Yosemite [I particularly remember the photo the guy put up of the night sky / stars when they stopped there for a night... was beautiful]

Then off to San Fran and down to whale watching I think in Monterrey or Carmel-by-sea area...

Not a lot to go on im afraid, have searched back in the history, with no luck... was telling DW about the report, and how accurate everything was - down to coffee receipts etc...and she now wants to indulge in it

DIBB has some expert sleuths so hopefully someone can help...
