Sponsorship and Charity Posts.

Hi,
We have changed our policy on posts that ask for donations to a charity or posts that ask for sponsorship.

Until now we have always had a blanket ban on such posts, this wasn't because we were uncharitable but more to do with preventing fraud or opening up our forums to spam charity posts.

From now on we will allow posts requesting sponsorship or donations if they meet the following conditions and it is restricted to a single thread:-

1. It must be for a registered, recognised charity.

2. Collection of any monies is to be done so by the registered charity, online to the registered charity. All monies are to go directly to the charity not to the person being sponsored. A Just Giving page is acceptable.

If a charity is not able to accept online donations then regrettably we can not allow posts asking for donations to these particular charities.
