Have Just returned from Harry Potter !

Well after a really lovely long day we have just returned from IOA Harry Potter - wow, wow, wow is all we could say all the wayround. Yes we did queue hours but yes we did ride everything ... the only thing we did not do was drink butter bear as after buying a wand from Olivanders we had had enough of the queue's. The ride did facilitate people over a size 16 as origanlly mentioned on here lots of larger people rode it. We have lots of pictures and we will upload them on our return.

I'm a size 16-18( & big-busted too! ) & had no bother with the seat.

I remember slagging Universal off for disguising The Unicorn, and Duelling Dragons as Harry Potter themed rides... I take all that back.

But... it is a magical place. I count myself VERY fortunate we got in when we did. After watching our camcorder footage we realise just HOW lucky we were. My son was selected by Olivander, it was amazing. There was only about 10 people in the shop at the time. Doubt we will EVER experience that again.

I remember being in the 3 Broomsticks with about 10 people in it. Looking at the beams in the ceiling and marvelling at the detail.

I hope everyone else gets the chance.

I sit at home now and realise paying all that money to stay in HRH for 2 nights was worth every penny. It is only when you come home that you truly appreciate your holiday. I've said it for years and I am saying it now.

A couple of photos of my son in there. Sorry if they are too big.

The girl below is actually from England working there...How cool is that!

Excellent post and fantastic pictures.

Your a very lucky family. x
