I am looking at flying RyanAir from Glasgow Prestwick to Paris,  but I have no idea where either airport is.

Do you know of any travel inn type places near Prestwick?  And how did you get from Beauvais to DLP?  I can see details of a bus into Paris,  but nothing to DLP.

Hi Bev

Just found this site and copied this from it:

</span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">The relatively new and very well placed Beauvais Airport is also becoming more popular, especially with visitors from ireland and Scotland. As yet, however, there is no easy way to reach DLP from there and the best advice is to take the taxi or train into Paris to any RER station and reach DLP via that route. </td></tr></table><span id='postcolor'>

Hope this helps a bit! .

Hi Bev sorry about the delay in replying, all this new stuff is a bit much for me!
Prestwick is about 40 mins south of Glasgow and has a travel lodge type hotel quite close - we passed it on our way to the airport but I cant remember which chain it is sorry.
To get to DLP was easy, we got on a bus at Beavais (organised to coincide with the flights arrival) it was £5 each. It dropped us in the centre of Paris. We then got on the underground, went 2 stops and changed on to the train for DLP. It sounds terrible but it didnt take too long and was interesting seeing a bit of Paris.
The other way to do it is hire a car of course - you can do a 1 way hire and drop the car off at DLP then the same on the way home if you wouldnt need the car when you were there.
If you need to know more let me know.
