Hollywood studios and Star Wars..
I know this is very hard to predict, but hoping people who have had experience with the opening of pandora and frozen may have some sort of idea on this... but how busy do we expect the rest of HS to be once galaxy’s edge opens? We’ll be there almost 2 months after opening day, and although my OH is looking forward to GE, I’m super excited about finally getting to see Toy story land as we just missed it last year, and I also think HS is one of my favourite parks. Just wondering if the rest of the areas are going to be rammed, especially with it being quite a compact park compared to the others..

My guess is a similar pattern to other parks and headliners. Take HS at the moment. Park opens, everyone goes to TS and SDD. If you go anywhere else in HS for the first 60 mins you can typically get on anything you want easily. But as the day progresses and people finish SWGE it gets busier elsewhere too.
I think the same thing will happen. The first 60-90 mins of park being open SWGE will suck up most of the people coming in to the park. ToT and RnR will be dead. TS will probably still have some crowds but i reckon it will drop off from where it is now. So you might find in the first hour SDD has a 0-15min queue. That is my guess. |

Sorry no-one is going to be able to predict, SW is a totally different animal & probably closer to HP rather than TS & Avatar, the main problem is that with only one headliner in there (until Rise opens) there still isn't enough to draw away from the rest of the park.
