I have only stayed there maybe 3 or 4 times and the monorail/boats can be pretty busy at park close so I'd love to be able to walk between the two. It does seem a fair distance though but nice to have the option.

It is about time. I wish they would do one from the Contemporary to the TTC. Although it is a fair way, I would walk instead of standing for an hour in huge crowds trying to get my daughter's wheelchair on a ferry after the fireworks.

It’s not massively far. We’ve walked a few times from MK to ‘almost but not quite GF’ when it ends with a bench and the waterway. Once over the water it would only be another few minutes to the GF building I’d say.

I think...There was an original planned path (way back) that was supposedly to go right around from the TTC via the Poly and then to GF and MK to CR. It was in some of the initial conception ideas boards. I think I read about it in an article somewhere in Disney property years ago can’t recall where. Of course that was long before the expansion to the GF when the DVC Villas were added and they had to face the issues with the alligators in the water. Overall it’s a good idea and would make a pleasant walkway between the resorts and the MK and the Monorail stop. Perhaps they should have included a walkway between AK and the AKL before they built the Savannahs in the park and resort areas. It will be interesting to see if they incorporate a walkway between the new Star Wars resort and DHS. Something like they did at Disney Springs would be good where you can access area without having to cross busy stretches of roads.
