Maybe it's because it's the most beloved, nostalgic and unique dark ride in all of Disney?!? Just maybe

My kids have never been thrilled by Peter Pan either. Aside from Disney, for me, the worst 'ride' ever has to be Twister at Universal. I thought it was a joke when the cow flew past!

My wife loves Peter Pan so we have to queue for it.

I wouldn't say 'It's A Small World' is over-rated to be honest, OK, it's not that great a ride, but, the queue is never that big for it, so would it really qualify as over-rated?

I do love It's a Small World - I find it nice to just sit down for a bit and enjoy a relaxing boat ride The kids like it too, pointing out all the various countries

Simple answer, "Capacity". It wasn't designed for the sort of crowds WDW has now a days.

It depends on how you look at it I guess. When I was younger, my family used to rave about it (some of them still do!), but I'd be sat wondering what all the fuss was about (I still do) . I guess the gentler rides just aren't for me, I much prefer the thrill rides, so I suppose really I could say that any non-thrill rides are overrated in my opinion. I just happened to choose IASW because it's the one that sticks in my mind the most .

Not really, its mostly because a large number of people head straight to SDMT and when they come out and look for the nearest rides to go on next.

Add to that the low capacity and loading time and you get a massive queue very early in the day.

I haven't been but don't think anyone can say 7DMT is over hyped as no one hypes it!

The queues are probably down to it being fairly new (same with Frozen). If you got every 5 years to WDW, then you'd have done all the big ones but those so why not complete the set!

I hated Peter Pan in Paris, so won't be going in Florida
