The effect it's having on the other rides is substantial too - 90 mins for R'n'RC and 60 mins for Tower of Terror at 9:30am. DHS must be absolutely rammed today, as you might expect.

By comparison, over at EPCOT it's 15 mins for Soarin' and Frozen, and that's with TT down. Even SDMT has shorter wait times than every single ride at HS except Star Tours.

That's comparable to Anna and Elsa meet and greet when it first opened, and I think Gringotts too.

The current posted wait is 4 and a half hours. Which is more like I would’ve expected. Still stupidly long, mind you.

It makes you wonder whether the queues for the Star Wars rides will be longer than the park is actually open. And how that will work?

This. Granted, a lot of people are on once in a lifetime trips and might feel desperate to ride it. BUT, theres no much more else to see and four hours, even 2 hours, in a queue is crazy to me.

Although, a lot of the wait times is caused by the locals being desperate to see something new, especially at this park. Ive never understood the mentality of HAVING to see something right when it opens instead of waiting a few weeks or months and seeing it with a lot less hassle. See Volcano Bay for the biggest example of this.

Star Wars will have people waiting outside the park overnight just to get in the land, ive no doubt about that.
