Zion National Park
We have a trip booked for end of May to Vegas. Really hope to do Zion for 1-2 nights while there. Can someone suggest a decent, reasonably priced hotel near there please? Would you suggest 1 or 2 nights? We will not be hiking just sight seeing. Any help would be very welcome. We are doing Death Valley on our February trip so thought to buy the parks pass as we will probably go back to Vegas within the year. Hope that's a good idea. Thanks guys.

It's pretty expensive right in Zion national park. We stayed in an Airbnb lodge close to the entrance of the park. There were five us us so this worked well, as hotel accommodation would have been too expensive.
I'd recommend two nights to make the most of it.

The Bumbleberry Inn in Zion is great, large rooms, great views and pool. There is also a stop for the shuttle to get into the park very close by. We stayed in 2015 and you can see some pictures in my Cacti and Canyons trip report.

It was years ago I went, but it’s really lovely. We stayed at St George.

Zion is a fabulous place. We stayed Sept 18 at the Holiday Inn which was fine and average prices for Zion. Really anywhere along the main road into Zion is good, there are regular buses to the park (I think they will be running in May!). We are not hikers but thoroughly enjoyed the shorted walks. Make sure you take the car through the tunnel towards the East Entrance and take the walk/short hike up to the valley overlook. Absolutely stunning. My blog for our trip is
