That’s not strictly true. They seem to be making good progress and the opening was changed from “late fall” to just “fall” recently. I’m sure Disney can work faster if they really want to so September/October may be doable. I have mixed feelings though as we go the last 2 weeks of September.

We are going to Disneyland Anaheim in October as part of our Las Vegas trip...done this quite a few times.

I really hope it is not open when we go.
Unlike most, I have no interest in Star Wars stuff.But know that if it is open the parks will be heaving.

It’s scheduled to open in the summer so it will be open when you go in October.

Dread the thought it will be open or actually open when we are there in September but then DH said if it is open it will be manic in that park & hopefully empty in the other 3 :-) Fingers crossed then.

Bob Iger has confirmed Disneyland's Galaxy's Edge will be open in June.

It is not announcement for Florida.

We are entering the window when Disney might announce the official opening dates for its upcoming Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge lands at Disneyland and Walt Disney World's Disney's Hollywood Studios. The first opportunity for an announcement will be at Thursday's annual meeting for stockholders in The Walt Disney Company.

As for Walt Disney World, we now are forecasting an opening date for Galaxy's Edge of October 1, 2019. That forecast is based in information from multiple sources on when the land's attractions are scheduled to be turned from construction crews over to operations cast members, accounting for time for training plus some fudge factor.

We're there from the 4th October, I hope it will be open as it's going to be our last trip until 2022
