Great thread, I think i'll copy all these tips and make a sheet up for each park and take them to the parks with us when we go there in October.

I don't know if its a secret or the croc had just escaped, we went AK back in 2009 and both days we ate at a seating area opposite this area

I dont know the name of the seating area but if you go there and look in thee water keep a look out for the crocodiles floating around.

Can I just clarify. Push, the talking trash bin is found at Magic Kingdom. PIPA, his cousin is at DAK - usually at the Conservation Centre.
The Tree of Life is an adapted oil rig and it has 8,000 branches with over 100,000 artificial leaves. Within its roots is the "It's tough to be a bug" theatre which seats 430.

thanks geoff for that video - i always look for things like that on you tube but never find any. i think its amazing how the tree was built, i just wish you get closer to it to see all the animals carved into it a bit better

You can get pretty close to see most of the animals though - one way is through the ITTBAB queue, and the other is taking the less-travelled trail around the base of the tree which you can access buy turning right just before the bridge to harambe (it is kinda hard to miss though).
