The $ has fallen dramatically since we booked making buying food at now exchange rate even more expensive. Having the dining plan secures a set price for our holiday. Even if we cancel the Disney part the overall experience may be more expensive than anticipated. I guess we will all just have to see what happens as frustrating as this is.

Yeah that was from the phone call. You can cancel without charge for bookings up to 31st August. We would lose the deposit if we cancelled now. Basically they haven't been told anything yet

I would presume 35% discount like Americans but we will have to wait and see.

I’ve made a thread here for people to share their experiences with Disney/other TAs: https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/sho...6#post14493906

That's not for keeping the holiday, it's for a future booking.

So Disney are only allowing people to cancel with no charge up to the end of August?

If they're going to remove the free DDP including those with bookings past that date then I think it's only fair that they let those with reservations after August cancel with no charge too.
