Mine has an Amazon box to play in and seems fine so maybe they don't do it in the UK.

I doubt they do it in the US either. Why wouldn't they just use poison bait stations like other businesses?

I saw this claim a while ago and looked into it as my daughter has 2 x box loving cats and it is a false claim. Amazon boxes are not sprayed and are safe to kitties to carry on playing in
