Advice Needed Regarding BA Issues

Some advice needed if possible!

We have had to cancel multiple bookings with BA since the start of the pandemic. Up until now BA have been fine to deal with and given us our vouchers. However in January 2021 they issued us an incorrect voucher. I wasn't given an email voucher or code, I was just told it was being held on their system and to call when I needed to book new flights. When I did this they realised that an incorrect voucher total had been given to us. I was told it would be chased up.

I still haven't been able to get a correct voucher. They won't answer the phone, they won't repsond on live chat. I have put in two complaints and they are being ignored.

Any advice on how to take this further now? I am owed over £2000. At this point I've had enough. I want a refund. I have tried all social media platforms also.

Thanks.

I would keep trying to call. I managed to get through last week by repeatedly dialling until I got added to the queue. It was about a 90 minute wait, but I can’t fault the staff once I got through. Twitter DMs are another route to try.

ive found the best way to contact them through they're website on the chat page, just keep typing speak to an agent and then you'll get through to somebody and then if it was a holiday booked not a flight only they'll put you through to the uk agents who know what they're talking about and hopefully they'll help you out!

Depends how much time you’ve got i think..

I had several attempts at this and would also get told no one in the holiday dept was free blah blah.

I eventually got through Friday after sitting there for 2.5 hrs ..

I would have the right ump over this because BA have a sale on now and there are some terrific prices about. No other advice to add, I just hope you get it sorted

Not sure that you'll get a refund but good luck. I use Twitter & whilst it isn't an instantaneous reply they have always got back to me. I had issues with them not taking a voucher, they did eventually after I had proof that I could!

I have had a couple of issues with BA refunds in the past and both have been very quickly resolved on FlyerTalk by user BA Refund Helper. I am not sure who this user is but from his replies, I believe he is a BA management employee. He has always responded to me within 24 hours even during very busy periods of the pandemic.
