It's a bit early to jump unless you are desperate which I assume you aren't or you'd have booked pe in the first place. We upgraded with BA at OLCI for £248 each. We always come back in PE so this was already booked.

Very expensive £200 would be a more like it, i think airport tax makes outward flights more expensive how much is the PE upgrade on the return? if you're not flying back PE I would do it on the return as you get an extra bag. Just keep watching the price it may change.

Hi Margaret, admittedly we travel off-peak, but not a smidge of a chance would I pay £525 for a PE upgrade, especially as VS have reduced PE seat width on their A350 aircraft by 2.5" (currently their A330-300s still have 21" of width).

I have seen a £525 difference between economy and ore inn economy before. So it’s not unheard of, but definitely a very high upgrade price.

I've generally paid between £150-200, anything higher I can't justify.
A nice way to start your holiday if the price is right. Have fun |

The inbound will always be cheaper than the outbound flight to upgrade from Economy as you do not have to pay the extra APD of about £90.
Recently in the App my May flight was showing as £300pp to upgrade hearthrow to mco, then then shot up to £800pp! I managed to book the home flight for £100pp and used miles to upgrade the outbound.

I would pay that only if I had paid under £300 for my original flight. PE is worth around £800 in total, return to me.
The point being that it is impossible to say unless we have the total price for the fare. |
