Filling Out ESTA Help

We are travelling as a family of 4 - 2adults and 2children, do we fill out 4 separate ESTA forms? Also when on the website do we do it through group application or Indiviual?

Yes you fill out 4 separate forms. Your choice whether you do individual or group, only difference with a group is that you make 1 payment. Make sure you click on the word esta on here to go to the official site.

Yes it's one form per person. I believe you can do a group application but I prefer to do individual ones.

To be honest I'd stick with separate ones. I've tried to do a group one today and now have 2 half finished groups hanging around in cyberspace as I couldn't work out how to add members!

Apart from last summer we have done all our ESTAs individually and they have been approved instantly. Did a group last time and it came back pending. Could have been a total coincidence and we went back on 5 minutes later and it was approved.

Don't stress if they come back pending. For some reason they can take up to 72 hours.

As others have said, a group is only for payment purposes and nothing else. Each ESTA is individual to each passport. If three of your p/p expire in 2020 no problem but if one expires next year you will need a new ESTA for that expired p/p separately
