12 months in Florida - help!

Me and my partner are looking at spending 12 months in Florida but we don’t know where to start.

My partner is possibly able to get a relocation package with work.

We have 3 children who would need to school there for the year.

Has anyone done this and what would we need to do and what would we need?
Working visas etc...

Thank you 😊

Unless your partner gets a relocation package it won't be easy working visas are hard to come by unless it's through a company and even then it might just be him who can work
Rent property taxes health/dental insurance cost of school supplies yes you need to supply the basics pens paper etc etc you could home school many American families do
You'd need a car maybe 2 tax and insurance for them again expensive
We looked at it when my DH company bought a couple of US power companies in different states was just not financially viable at the time for us and we were going to receive a substantial relocation package with health insurance included
Good luck with your search and hope it works out for you

Are you doing it by choice or actually being moved by your husbands work? If it’s the former would it be worth it considering it will inevitably be disruptive to your kids schooling?
