Changing Disney resort and dining offers

This is a strange one and wonder if anyone has any thoughts.

I made a booking during the dining credit offer and had the dining credit, gift card, gift basket. Just before Christmas we decided that we would push this booking out and go in December instead.

I assumed moving my dates would mean the offer would not transfer over and we were fine with that. However when I was on the phone, the CM said he would check whether I could keep the offer for my date which was an arrival of 14 December. I said you really don’t need to bother, I know I will not keep the offer for a December booking. But they insisted and a very long time later came back with the great news that I could keep the gift card, a reduced dining credit (lower category of hotel) and just the gift basket would not transfer over.

Shortly after I received my new invoice which confirms all this. So far so good … but my booking hasn’t updated on MDE yet. Lately I have found new bookings and changed bookings update almost immediately so I am concerned that there is something wrong with this booking that is making it reject or something.

Interested in anyones thoughts and in particular, can anyone confirm that the dining offer was definitely not available for December bookings?

The offer was available for arrivals on 14th December, so the CM was right

Oh what great news, I was absolutely sure it was not available after the end of September.

I still have the issue of MDE not updating, but that will keep, perhaps things have slowed down for Christmas.

My 2022 booking was originally booked for Dec 9, so it's definitely valid. Probably just MDE being its usual self. I had one amend update almost instantly and one take a couple days.

Yes it was it taking more than a week that I found odd, so wondered had they messed up with the offer. Perhaps when things resume to normal after the NY break it will update.

I had forgotten about this, but just noticed my booking has still not updated.

Has anyone else changed a Disney booking lately and had it take a long time to update?

I've just done the same on Sunday. Can't find my booking online at all but I've got the email with confirmation so not worried yet. Will contact them in about a week via chat and get them to sort.

I am trying to amend the dates of my booking and yesterday when I called the wait time was 70 minutes and I had to hang up to do the school run. Just tried again and estimated wait time was 135 minutes. I thought it would be shorter this morning while the US is still asleep.

Please can you let me know where I can find the chat function as I googled and just got the phone number.

It's on MDE, bottom right of page with future plans/tip board etc.
I rang on Sunday and it was saying 75 mins but it was 50. I just kept doing stuff while listening to music while waiting
