April 2022, 4th attempt

Hi, please don't give me a hard time for this question. Ive actually not looked at thrDibb for a while in fear of negativity.

I've had to cancel a trip to Floruda with all my family unfortunately, due to circumstances this can't happen again.
I've had to cancel a florida wedding.
I've had to cancel a Vegas honeymoon.
I've had to postpone Florida 3 times now.

Is anyone booked up for April 2022 and thinking it will go ahead?

We are flying out on 28th April and I'm pretty sure we'll be going. The thing putting us off is the negative test to be able to return home but once that is dropped I'll feel more confident and there is rumour that it will be dropped shortly.

I’m not booked for April (we are august), but as flights have been going all over Christmas and even with the dreaded omicron not cancelling them, unless another strain arrives that is worse (which I don’t think is going to happen), I have no reason at the moment to think both of us won’t be getting away! 😊

At the moment people are definitely choosing to cancel rather than having their trips cancelled, so if you want to go, I personally think you’ll be ok! We are certainly planning on being there 👍

I'm sorry you've had to cancel so many things.

I'm not booked but cannot see why April wouldn't happen? People are there and travelling now. By April thins can only be the same or better.

Do you have a booking for April or planning to make one? Where are you going and who's in your party? I'm sure you'll have a great time.

Plenty of Dibbers out there now and things should be even better by April, so no reason why it shouldn't be going ahead.

We are booked to fly 9th April and I am as confident as I can be that it will be going ahead. My biggest worry is testing positive pre flight.

I'm booked for April, I'm more confident of going this time than I was last April
As with others, the testing is the only thing worrying me at the moment. Plus the fact one of our party is coming over from Ireland the day before so I don't know what the situation will be for him with maybe having to do multiple tests

We are rebooked (4th attempt!) for May... I am confident we will be there. Lets just hope they drop this pointless testing malarkey (both inbound and out) by then.

I wouldn't call pre flight testing pointless. It prevents people who are currently infectious from boarding a plane and potentially infecting others. Annoying yes, but definitely not pointless. I feel much better knowing everyone on my flight has been tested.
