Thanksgiving weekend - Disney or Universal?
Starting a 16 night trip on Thanksgiving (flying out that day or the day before) - which would you pick…
- universal first, generally believed to be less busy than disney but will need more days at universal as a result (& won’t be in a deluxe resort with FOLP, probably cabana bay) - disney first, then can have less days at universal at the end of the trip due to lower crowds (potentially afford a deluxe resort, but if not will be cabana bay)

Disney first, Universal was very busy that weekend this year. Having experienced it you'll be miserable without an Express Pass IMHO.

I’d go for Disney too. More parks to spread out so you could check wait times and park hop when it’s busy, also there’s more resorts etc to explore outside of the parks.
We will be at Disney over thanksgiving this year too. Going to get as much done as possible before it and then just go with the flow and do more Disney Springs etc when it gets busy.

I agree with Dr JJ. Disney will be very busy too, but at least you have a chance of Genie+ where EPs will be ridiculously priced if not staying deluxe.
I was in MK the Sunday after Thanksgiving and it really wasn't too bad if you got there for rope drop as the park opened at 8am. That extra hour makes a huge difference. |

I’d stop Universal in A deluxe hotel with Express pass.
