Choosing the back row?
I may be in the minority here but I quite like a back row on an airline. I'm not a recliner so don't feel like I'm missing out on anything!
I'm debating though for the next trip and thought to ask here for any opinions... Disclaimer: this is not a reclining thread! We're booked on a BA A380 to Miami. We have row 83 (very back) 4 across in the middle booked already. No toilets behind just the galley. Does anyone have any opinion or experience on the A380 upper deck, specifically the rear from rows 79 to 83. Are we asking for trouble sitting so close to the rear galley? Will it be the usual limited seat recline or is it hard up against the galley? I get we'll be last off the plane, that's not an issue though. |

I’d only choose the back row if I wasn’t bothered about getting off early. With MCO immigration usually being a pain in the ass, I want off asap😂 We’ve taken it before, on the return flight or going to different destinations and it’s the only time that I would recline

The small back cabin can be very noisy as so close to the galley

We always choose the back row we love it back there! We know we are last off but hey you’re on holiday, relax! This time we are flying Aer Lingus so clear immigration in Ireland do no mad rush when we land in MCO anyway.

No problems with the back row for us. We flew back in those seats in Dec and it was a really good flight and nothing to complain about. Loved the smaller cabin and found it really easy to sleep up there.

We always book and pay the back row with BA, and have been upgraded for free to WTP and CW more than half of those times. BA constantly change the plane type or oversell, and when your row goes missing they seem to upgrade rather than refund your seat payment. Sneaky little trick but worked again in November for our Orlando flight.
