We rented a double stroller from Kingdom Strollers in December. It was primarily for the 1 year old and bags but we ended up having our 3 and 5 year old fighting over the spare seat. We did a lot of walking so it was great to have when one of them just gave up!
We are renting again in May. Works out about £100ish

Thanks guys, you are all wonderful as usual!

If it helps, they are 6 and 8 in June and we are going in April so they are the tail end of the ages. Without a doubt I’d take one for a 2,3 or 4 year old but I’m not sure after that! My husband has suggested seeing how they go on day one and buying a cheapy from Walmart. We are there for almost 3 weeks (19 days) staying at the Poly, SSR and Wilderness lodge so not in a villa.

I’ve seen a few pockit strollers on Facebook though for around £50 so I’m thinking that might be worth a shot. Thought my stroller days were long gone! They are handy for bags and stuff though I defo agree.

I loved pushing the stroller. Took me back 30 years!

I miss our buggy (even walking home from school with all the bags).
It all depends on the weather and the pace you set. When we at that stage, we used to do the parks in the morning and go home so never did any full days but I’m not sure whether we’ll be able to do that now with genie and lightning lanes etc.
Makes me a bit sad that this will be our first trip without the buggy but I won’t miss having to hunt for it after every ride when’s he cast members have moved them around!

Ah I bet! My kids are the same genders, in the same order and age gaps as me and my brother and we live near where I grew up so the setting is the same too, my mum and dad are often like this is like being in a permanent time machine.

I know what you mean! It’s so weird after so long as last time we had to worry about strollers, rear facing car seats nappies, milk even! Stressing over the flight and them running off so reins and whatnot. It’s really odd planning a trip with this age of kids as I just don’t know what they will need. I mean they still need the car seats but they are high back boosters so not as much stress there, but the rest is new territory.
My son used to hate flying and was a bolter but he’s just not like that now and is very much a rule follower and is cautious. My little girl is so much older now and like a little responsible sensible kid rather than a toddler. They both know the mask rule are are confident they will be fine with it. And I know they’ll both take their own suitcases and bags that kind of thing. They are helping me plan and have an input and know all the dates and hotels. It’s like I’m going with brand new people!
It’s bizarre.

I do not miss the double baby jogger though at all!

We bought one at Walmart a few years ago - we went with family and weren’t expecting to need one.

We paid about $30 and gave it away free on Facebook on our last day.

I think that might be what we end up doing. They’ll be fine in the airport so it’ll just be in the parks. That said I don’t know if we will go as full on as before, I want to soak it in a lot more. And me and DH are getting old now, we need to take things slower! 🤣

We took our old battered one with us last time, youngest was 6. She hadn't used it at home for years. We never used it and donated it to bell services when we checked out (they said they keep a few to loan to people who have arrived and lost theirs on their flight). I'm glad we took it just in case though! (I'm also glad she didn't use it, definitely helped with rope drop etc!)
