Car seats and 10 month old

Hi we were hoping to go to Florida in sep and were planning to use Uber/Lyft instead of hiring a car to get to parks. However I had totally forgot about needing a car seat. I’ve read that you can request uber with a car seat but only front facing for toddler age. So my question is can we take our own car seat and store it in a locker? Or are they to small? Would we be better moving accommodation to one with free shuttle bus? We have booked lbv resort and spa provisionally but it says shuttle bus stopped due to Covid. Any recommendations appreciated for other hotels if that is better option? Had Disney on site booked pre Covid but now doesn’t seem worth the cost thanks

Uber/Lyft car seats are not suitable (or allowed) for under 2's.

There are sites you can hire carseats from, i think that would be your best option tbh.
But in terms of storing the carseat in a locker, they will not be big enough when you get to the park to store it.

Unless you got a buggy with a carseat attachment?

Thanks for reply, we have a car seat we can bring. It was more the issue of how to store it at parks. It does attach to buggy but we need to take pushchair bit off to attach and couldn’t have baby in car seat all day. So guessing only option would be to hire our own car or look for accommodation with regular shuttle service.

I would hire as car. When you have a little one you really need that flexibility to come and go based on their needs and a car gives you that.

It’s certainly possible to get around on the shuttle bus with a pushchair / changing bag / day bag etc. but it’s not a lot of fun.
