Hotel arrival, just round the corner from my brother's apartment. At the marina

Friday brunch at the the Al Qsar.
I cannot wait to go back later this year.

Beach sunset. Coffee at Paul.

Dinner at the Westin. Great food.

On the metro-
Eh! ?
It makes me want to ask why not... But then why would you?

Old town metro station. Made me feel like I was in Dr Who or Torchwood.

Sheik Zayed road. Pray for your life.

In the Dubai mall

Still in the mall...

I didn't go up.
I might this year.

Not as good as you would think.

Ski Dubai.

My bro's balcony bar... He's Scottish, his wife is French.
Therefore it's called
The Coq and Thistle.

Mmmmm.

Re the fish. I think that's because the fish market in Deira is close to the metro and a lot of people go to it. Can you imagine the smell on the metro?

I went to Dubai twice last year and loved it! Love the Westin. The burj is worth going up and go to the aqua park at Atlantis. It's amazing!

Great Pics. We always stay at the Al Qasr, one of our most favourite hotels. We are looking to go back next September for my Special Birthday and as a treat a few days at the Burj Al Arab which we stayed in on our Silver Anniversary.

I love the Al Q'sar, and have had a fantastic afternoon tea in the Burj.
My brother booked it for the sky deck, forgetting that I am scared of heights. I sat with my back to the windows whilst everyone else enjoyed the view! Nice afternoon tea though
