what happens in typhoon lagoon in the morning im a bit confused u get to turn things on and stuff please tell me what happens

Well I have been there at rope drop and nothing happened at all - just everyone rushing for the best place to sit!

We've also been to Typhoon Lagoon a number of times at "rope drop" and just went to find our places - nothing else

BB picks a family of the day to 'test' the slides. Can't remember anything other than running to get the best lounger

Some days they have surfing lessons before the park opens, but I've not heard of anything else. The park sometimes hosts private out-of-hours events. Please tell what you have heard.

When we were there last year we went EMH in the morning and they picked a little boy to be in charge for the day,he had to turn the wave machine on and done some other things like that.

The person they pick is called the BIG KAHUNA You need to be at the entrance before the park opens they then pick someone to be the big kahuna for the day. They first take you a tour around the park and at the end of the tour all the life gaurds form a guard of honour which you after walk through. They then take you to your own section of beach which is roped off in front of the wave pool. they then ask the big kahuna what kind of waves did he want, small, big, xxtra big he then had to insert the medal they gave him to turn on the waves(surprise suprise that he picked the largest) and thats when they open the park. All the settings are the same but he thought he'd chose the biggest. We also got free towel rental, free locker a refillable mug and a great big bag of dounuts. This happens every day its like thier opening ceremony.
