Cypress Gardens!

Hi , Im going to Florida in 2 weeks.
Just wondered what Cypress Gardens was like.
As we have never been before and may visit this year.

Very, very quiet compared to WDW/SW etc. We were there last month for the first time. I admit that I won't be going back as there wasn't much to keep us occupied and, compared to Disney, it was rather lame. However, if you keep in mind that it is not Disney and try not to compare it, then you can have quite a fun day. The gardens are beautiful... take a picnic.
The rides are more of the old fashioned big wheel era and there are no major animals in the animal section.
If you want quite a relaxing day, I'd say go for it... but just the once!

Thanks for the reply .We are using a Go Orlando card for the visit so if its not that great at least it wont have cost too much .Thanks Again Shelley

Thats the card we used for it... we had the two day option and spent the other day at the attractions on I.Drive.

Hi,

If you have been to Florida a number of times and had a day free then I would recommend that you spend it here.

Beautiful gardens, nor really a lot to do but so relaxing compared to the main parks.
